The VMax package
The 21C VMax is built for one purpose: maximum straight-line speed. Its low-drag, longtail design strips away everything not in service of pure velocity — the aero features that define the 21C HDF are removed, unlocking a dramatically higher top speed in an elongated, elegant design. The VMax carries over the same inline cockpit, dual A-arm pushrod suspension, BioLogic™ Engineered chassis, and powertrain that define the 21C platform with a different aim: maximum velocity.

The 21C VMax's aero package was redesigned to reduce drag and exceed 250 mph, utilizing an extended, wingless tail and a reworked front end to rebalance aero loads. The roof intake is replaced by twin flush decklid intakes while the longer rear deck makes room for an extended diffuser and luggage space. The result: top speed increased to 253 mph (407 kph) with a maximum downforce of 3,307 lbs (1,500 kg), ensuring stability at any speed.

Acceleration
With its low-drag optimized design, the 21C VMax blasts through the quarter-mile in just 8.5 seconds — two-tenths quicker than the 21C HDF’s already-blistering performance.

Grand touring
The 21C VMax’s longtail design enables the addition of a luggage compartment aft of the engine, providing an extra element of usability for a more grand-touring focus.

The cockpit
The 21C's fighter jet-inspired inline central seating arrangement narrows the cabin to minimize frontal area, boost aerodynamic efficiency, and centralize weight — while giving the driver a panoramic view and pedals perfectly aligned with the steering wheel. The rear passenger sits aft in a fighter jet co-pilot-like position. The rear seat accommodates passengers up to 6'5", ensuring comfort for both occupants.

The Foundation
21% of 21C VMax is topology-optimized and additively manufactured using processes developed by Czinger’s vertically integrated sister company, Divergent Technologies. Joined to the carbon fiber monocoque, the metal printed parts — steering rack, motor housings, suspension components, crash structures — comprise the world’s first Pareto optimal chassis.

The Power Unit



The most power-dense homologated V8 in the world, Czinger’s in-house 2.88L twin-turbo V8 produces 750 hp and revs to 11,000 rpm. With its compact size and extensive use of additively manufactured components, the engine weighs just 231 lbs (105 kg). Two electric motors on the front axle and a crankshaft-mounted Motor Generator Unit combine to make an additional 500 hp, bringing total system output to 1,250 hp.
