Czinger Vehicles sets first and fastest official track record at Circuit of the Americas

Los Angeles, CA – Czinger Vehicles continues to redefine automotive performance with its groundbreaking 21C, setting the first and the fastest official production car lap record at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA), and confirming its status as a dominant force in the hypercar arena. The record is further validated by COTA, giving the track run its official certification. On July 24, 2024, the Czinger 21C, in its striking Rattlesnake Green livery, completed the circuit with an official IMSA lap time of 2:10.7. The 21C was driven by Joel Miller, who expertly navigated the challenging 3.41 mile‑long circuit to earn the new record. For the timed lap run, the 21C met all production car criteria, including the use of standard road tires, full production car interior with no parts removed, and had full production car safety equipment, including all standard airbags and seat belts. These criteria were agreed and witnessed by COTA and IMSA.

COTA is a premier motorsports facility in the United States, renowned globally for its impressive and demanding layout. This outstanding achievement eclipsed the previous record of 49.32 seconds set in 2023, showcasing the 21C's unparalleled performance capabilities.
